By Joy Dumasia
Ikigai, the first UK app to bring together everyday banking and wealth management, provides clients with Apple Pay. A safer, more secure, and more private payment method helps customers avoid handing over their payment card to someone else, touching physical buttons, or exchanging money and uses the power of l ‘iPhone to protect every transaction.
Ikigai customers hold their iPhone or Apple Watch near a payment terminal to make a contactless payment. Every Apple Pay purchase is secure because it’s authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device password, as well as a one-time, one-time dynamic security code.
Customers can also use Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad, and Mac to make faster, more convenient in-app or web purchases in Safari without creating an account or repeatedly entering shipping and billing information.
When ikigai customers use a credit or debit card with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device or on Apple’s servers. Instead, a unique device account number is assigned, encrypted, and stored securely in the Secure Element, an industry-standard certified chip designed to keep payment information safe on the go. ‘device.
Once a customer adds a card to their iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac, they can immediately start using Apple Pay on that device. Customers will continue to receive all rewards and benefits offered by ikigai cards.
Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that Mastercard announced that it is bringing a safer, more secure and more private payment method to its Apple Pay customers. Help customers avoid handing over their payment cards to someone else, touching physical buttons, or exchanging money.
