IHS Markit has partnered with Financial Recovery Technologies (FRT) to provide asset management capabilities for corporate actions and class actions.
Founded in 2008 and based in Massachusetts, FRT offers technology-based services to help companies file claims and collect funds made available in securities class action settlements through eligibility analysis, an audit of disbursements and reports to clients.
FRT’s partnership with IHS Markit aims to provide FRT’s clients with corporate action data and processing capabilities while enabling IHS Markit’s clients to take advantage of securities class action collection services.
The partnership will leverage IHS Markit’s corporate action solution, which brings together technology solutions and managed data services that help capital markets firms reduce risk, increase efficiency and improve quality services by streamlining, optimizing and automating the entire corporate actions workflow for all asset classes and markets.
